With the latest capitulation of the supine Democratic Congress on FISA and war funding as only the most current examples, the attacks on our Constitution and democratic republic are intentionally coming at an accelerating pace, reeling the citizenry and nearly overwhelming any efforts at effective countermeasures and protest. This is yet another campaign of the insidious “globalization” strategy and its associated "shock & awe" tactics of war, plunder, return to feudalism, and tyranny.
Can this runaway train be derailed? Perhaps, but don’t look to Senator Obama for genuine “hope”, “change” or even simple leadership on this. He’s the vetted darling of the ruling elite and the notorious Chicago Democratic machine notwithstanding the pretty packaging. The only real choice we have in 2008 and beyond is whether we citizens prefer to take our betrayal and treason with "sweet-nothings about "hope & "change" from the Democrats or with "straight talk" from the Republicans.
