Polish Military Aid

NH patriots note: Halliburton (Cheney) subsidiary, KBR, has supplied tainted water to troops in Iraq. KBR has also insisted that towels issued to troops (at taxpayer expense) be embroidered with their logo - increasing cost by 300 to 400%. The Marine Corps had delayed production of MRAP vehicles (resistant to IED’s) for bureaucratic reasons - a delay which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Marines in Iraq.
Another headline will surely raise eyebrows: President Bush, in agreement with Polish PM Tusk, has promised to “modernize” the Polish military - payback for allowing a US missile defense system to be staged on Polish soil.
US soldiers, mired in the fifth year of the Iraq invasion, using filthy, KBR-supplied water with lavish, embroidered KBR towels and facing a lack of safe vehicles, must view the offer to Poland with wonderment.
